Nancy Tennis Director  Nancy's teaching career began in 1966 as a graduate of Kansas University and a physical education instructor in Ladue. In 1978, she decided to change careers and became a full time tennis instructor at Algonquin Country Club and South Hampshire Racquet Club. Nancy has held many District and Municipal Tennis titles as well as being MVTA #1 in the 35's and 40's. She earned her USPTA Pro 1 certification in 1988. Nancy is completing her 20th year as Tennis Director at Woodsmill Tennis Club. The Woodsmill Senior 4.5 team Nancy plays on went to the National Tournament in Tucson, and she is currently playing in the USTA Adult League. In 2003, Nancy competed in the Senior Olympics, in Virginia, and won the gold medal in Singles. |

Lisa Pro Teacher  Lisa, a St. Louis native, has twenty years experience teaching and coaching tennis throughout the country. Prior to returning to St. Louis, Lisa spent eleven years in Hilton Head, S.C. working under tennis legends Stan Smith, Vic Braden, and John Newcombe. A USPTA certified professional and respected player in her own right, Lisa attended the College of William & Mary on an athletic scholarship, and competed on the national level throughout her junior and collegiate years. |

Brett Pro Teacher  Brett is a St. Charles native who has been teaching at Woodsmill since September, 1999. He competed for SIUE before receiving a degree in Journalism and working as a Sports Reporter for the Suburban Journals. Brett became USPTR certified while teaching part-time at West James Courts and the Missouri Athletic Club before coming to Woodsmill full-time. |

Huntley Pro Teacher  Huntley hails from Montego Bay, Jamaica where he started playing tennis. He came to the US in 1980 and worked as a Travel Director for Maritz Travel Company in Fenton for about 15 years. During that time, he continued with his amateur tennis career playing tournaments across the Bi-states, Indianapolis and Chicago whenever possible. Huntley became certified with both USPTR and USPTA and is a member of USTA. He joined the Woodsmill tennis organization in 2005 and has been teaching both clinics and privately at the club. He is also the head tennis coach for Nerinx Hall High School (girls) and Lutheran High School South (boys). He took the entire Nerinx Hall tennis team to the State finals in 2007 for the first time in the school’s history. www.huntleymcnab.com |
